Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

AudioArenaLab ("AudioArenaLab," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Khanin Chomphusri. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use audioarenalab.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address, and profile picture Google shares with us.
  • Saved comparisons and preferences. If you're signed in, we store the product comparisons you save and any preferences you submit (e.g. which product you preferred and why) so they persist across visits.
  • Support requests. If you email us, we collect whatever information you include in that message.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage and analytics data. We use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to collect information about how the Service is used — pages visited, comparisons made, approximate device/browser type, and general location inferred from your IP address. This data is aggregated and not directly tied to your name.
  • Comparison session data. To power features like "most compared products" and to improve the Service, we log which products were compared, session duration, and similar interaction data — tied to an account if you're signed in, or an anonymous identifier if you're not.

1.3 Information stored on your device

We use your browser's local storage to remember your current comparison selection and display preferences so the Service works smoothly between page loads. This data stays on your device and is not something we can directly read on our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser's settings.

2. Cookies

Google Analytics and Firebase Authentication may set cookies or use similar technologies to recognize your browser and keep you signed in. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect parts of the Service (for example, staying signed in).

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate and maintain the Service, including the real-time audio comparison tools;
  • To save your comparisons and preferences if you're signed in;
  • To understand how the Service is used so we can improve it;
  • To respond to support requests you send us;
  • To detect and prevent misuse, fraud, or abuse of the Service.

4. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Retailers

Product pages and comparisons may include affiliate links to third-party retailers, including Amazon, B&H Photo, and Sweetwater. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We do not receive or process your payment information from these purchases — that's handled entirely by the retailer. Once you leave audioarenalab.com through an affiliate link, that retailer's own privacy policy applies.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

The Service is built on the following third-party infrastructure, each of which processes data on our behalf:

  • Firebase & Google Cloud (authentication, database, analytics, hosting infrastructure);
  • Google Analytics (usage analytics, as described above);
  • Amazon CloudFront (content delivery for product images and audio samples);
  • Render (application hosting).

Where we access data through Google APIs, our use and transfer of that information will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, to the extent necessary for them to operate the Service on our behalf, or when required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.

7. Data Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, email us at support@audioarenalab.com and we'll process the request within a reasonable time.

8. Your Choices

  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • You can clear locally stored comparison data at any time via your browser settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure providers (Google Cloud/Firebase, Amazon Web Services, Render) may process and store data in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in such countries.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
